| Kathy Pike |
Kathleen Pike is an alumnus of Madam Featherstonehawe's Finishing School for Young Gels, having been rejected from St Trinian's after her effect on the other girls' fathers was noticed. Madam Featherstonehawe was publicly a very prim and proper woman, but those who chose to think for a few moments about her choice of title might have realised that she was, in fact, running a clearing house for the British Secret Service: training young ladies to use their feminine wiles for the good of Queen and Country.
Mrs Pike was deemed to be too fearsome a weapon for use by even our brave boys in MI6, who could not find a male mentor for her capable of resisting her charms, and discovered that even their female staff came dangerously close to batting for the other side when introduced to the charming Kathleen.
Eventually this devastating femme fatale was wooed and captured by the brave, handsome and noble Tim Pike, and although she still knows how to use the tricks of the trade as taught to her by the admirable Madam Featherstonehawe, she is happy and contented with her Prince Charming.
Kathy turned up at the Cake Stop the day after Ravenbait first dropped in, having got caught in a rain storm and looking fragile and vulnerable, with her clothes soaked through to the skin. There was a sudden dash from the League to make her warm and get her something to drink to bring life back to her cheeks, and it wasn't until she was on her second free pint that Tim came in, having locked up their tandem, reminding Kathy that she had left her waterproof hanging on the saddle while she changed her top for a clean one.
Kathy started as she meant to go on.
Although often to be found on the tandem known only as "She", stoking for Tim, Kathy's main steed is Mab. Mab is a Chas Roberts' custom ladies compact audax, in black with red lettering, and with black Shimano 105 groupset. Mab is far keener on hills than Kathy, whether on the way up or down.

Men have a tendency to go somewhat gaga over this one. For this reason she is to be considered one of the Cake Stop crew's most dangerous non-lethal weapons. Only the Humungous so far seems immune, and it's quite possible that his tastes are so deviant that even Mrs Pike's charms have no effect.
MEMO
Whatever that Fanshaw woman taught this female, she taught her well. If you want something that has to be seen to be believed, just go to a bar where Mrs Pike is drinking and count how many free ones she gets from the men around her. Just make sure you stick some bromide in your coffee before you go, however, or you could find yourself completely broke and completely sober at the end of the night.
Captain Jack Sparrow has taken a shine to her. That wily pirate doesn't pose much of a threat to us, except where our funds are concerned. Mrs Pike also seems to have the luck of the devil and is starting to show signs of being able to navigate A-Time solo, now that she has this new machine of hers.
This is one to watch. Don't let the pretty face fool you. And don't, whatever you do, go anywhere near her if you have taken Viagara in the last 3 months.
